Event Description
On Friday, October 21, Summit Huts Association will present a new twist on a successful autumn fundraising event. The 10th Annual Backcountry Ball will feature Telluride Mountainfilm on Tour. The event will be held at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge.
The evening will start with a VIP reception at 5 pm, featuring the ever-popular silent auction with the best backcountry products just in time for the start of the season. The VIP event will include casual food, drink, and your choice of early seating for the film presentation. At 7 pm, the doors will open to fill the Riverwalk auditorium for the Telluride Mountainfilm presentation. Started in 1979, Mountainfilm in Telluride is one of America's longest-running film festivals. Through the years, in and out of trends and fads, the festival has always been best described by one unchanging word: inspiring. Each year, Mountainfilm travels to 70 locations on 5 continents. But never before has Mountainfilm been to Breckenridge!
